The EN ISO 20349:2017 standard places extended requirements on the equipment of foundry and welder's boots. The footwear must withstand various test procedures related to extreme heat exposure and contact exposure to molten metal. This applies in particular to the properties of the upper material and the heat resistance of the sole complex. In an extensive casting test with TÜV Rheinland, Atlas successfully passed all requirements of EN ISO 20349:2017 for foundry and welder boots.
