Der Kay SL bietet alle Vorteile der BIRKENSTOCK Klassiker Tokio + Boston kombiniert in einem Modell. Der obere Ristriemen kann bei Bedarf nach hinten umgeklappt werden und bietet dann als Fersenriemen zusätzlichen Halt. Die Superlaufsohle ist rutschhemmend, rollt ideal ab und ist zudem öl- und fettbeständig. Ihre Zwischensohle aus EVA verfügt über eine zusätzliche Weichbettung. Sie dämpft dauerhaft und zuverlässig jeden Schritt _ auch bei empfindlichen Füßen. Vor allem im medizinischen Bereich ist dieses hohe Maß an Flexibilität und Trittsicherheit gefragt. Alle Superlaufsohlen-Modelle werden nach den Vorgaben der EN ISO 20347:2012 hinsichtlich der Rutschhemmung getestet.
